STEP 1 – IRRIGATION

The irrigation controller replicates plant and soil demand according to the actual weather conditions.
The system stores the water of the irrigation and the rain in its holding chamber.

STEP 2 – SATURATION / IRRIGATION STOP

The irrigation stops when the water-holding chamber is full.
The ceramic pot manages the evaporation of the system according to the actual weather conditions.

STEP 3 – NEW CYCLE BEGINS

When the concerned soil starts to dry out and the water level in the holding chamber is low, the irrigation cycle is automatically reactivated.

Aqualone takes into account soil’s humidity, hygrometry, rain, air temperature, sun influence, action of the wind, and even the retention capacities ofa the concerned soil.

Aqualone fills all these functions without any tuning nor tedious programming.
Aqualone does not require any energy! No battery, no wiring, no electronics, no migraine inducing users manuals.
Aqualone includes a magnetic bistable pilot valve able to activate any sort and size of commercial hydraulic valves, using simple dripper tubing.

  • The excess water drained from the container is collected at the bottom of the holding chamber, forcing the magnetic float to rise and stops the watering cycle.
  • The heart of the system is the porous ceramic container which responds exactly to the actual climate conditions and therefore to the actual need of the soil.
  • As the system’s water evaporation rate is the same as that of the concerned soil, a new irrigation cycle will only begin when the soil is in drying-out phase.
